There has been some press interest recently, and this has really helped the fund grow to smash the initial £3500 target. When we first started this challenge we could not have imagined the response we've seen over the past few weeks and considered that we'd set a tough target to reach of £3500.  We're delighted to report that thanks your donations we've exceeded that target and are well on the way to hitting £10,000.  This is truly awe-inspiring and an overwhelming response from the public.

With a bigger fund, we are able to make an even more significant difference to giving Mia a better quality of life. For example in addition to the increasing costs of making improvements to the family home, we might also be able to investigate contributing towards a specialised adapted motor vehicle which would accommodate Mia and provide transport for treatments or for short trips with the family.
