Fund Raising information

Please note that the Mia Austin appeal is not a registered charity, and therefore we do not have a Charity number, nor can we collect Gift-Aid from donations. Unfortunately, due to other commitments, we can only offer limited support for your fundraising event (such as basic website listing, simple poster designs) however, we do appreciate everyone's amazing willingness to support the appeal.

From May 29th until June 3rd Matt Hardman, Andy Ebbrell and Christian Scullion are tackling the Coast to Coast off road route as a fundraising activity to aid Mia’s cause.
The Coast to Coast route was the brainchild of Alfred Wainwright. From the Irish Sea at St Bees on the Cumbrian Coast, the route crosses the Lakeland fells, the Pennine Uplands, the Yorkshire Dales, the Cleveland Hills and finally the North Yorkshire Moors to the old fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay on Yorkshire's East Coast. We are using his route as the template for ours and the total distance is in the region of 200 miles. We are also to climb over 20,000 feet over the 5 days of the ride.
